Any new production charge of cloth is being tested for its penetration resistance at the Institut für Textil- und Verfahrenstechnik (ITV) in Denkendorf.
The ITV is one of two test houses, that have been nominated by both the FIE and the European Community to carry out quality control on fencing equipment.
Each piece of fencing clothing is being inspected accurately before it is packed.
